African SMS is route-dependent and published per country, because a single number across the continent would be a fiction. Rates are negotiable at volume, and we will tell you which carrier your traffic is on.
The first 3,000 emails each month are free. Past them the $9.50 monthly subscription starts — charged on the send that goes past, from your balance, not billed to you afterwards — and it covers the next 31,666 emails. Beyond that it is $0.30 per 1,000, and past 50,000 emails in a month the rate becomes $0.50 per 1,000 applied to that month's whole volume.
| Emails a month | Woyra | Resend |
|---|---|---|
| 3,000 | $0 free allowance | $0 |
| 10,000 | $9.50 the monthly minimum | $20 |
| 50,000 | $14.10 $0.30 per 1,000 | $20 |
| 100,000 | $49.10 $0.50 per 1,000 | $90 |
| 500,000 | $249.10 $0.50 per 1,000 | $450 |
| 1,000,000 | $499.10 $0.50 per 1,000 | $990 |
$9.50 buys 31,666 emails at $0.30 per 1,000, so below about 34,667 a month that is the whole bill however much you send — including the month you send one email past the free 3,000. It is taken when the subscription starts, so you are never sent a bill you did not already pay.
The $0.50 rate applies to the whole month once you cross 50,000, not only to the emails above it. So 50,000 emails cost $14.10 and 50,001 cost $24.10. We would rather put that on the pricing page than let you find it on an invoice.
Resend's column is their published list price at the time of writing; it is their number, not ours, and resend.com/pricing is the place to check it. Neither column includes a dedicated sending IP, which we charge $19 a month for.
Funds are reserved at the published price when a message is accepted, and settled when it is delivered. A message we never deliver is never charged for. An overdraft is a rejected API call, not an invoice you did not expect.
A cap you set is a cap we enforce. Traffic above it is refused, which is the only version of a cap that means anything.
Every account is billed in US dollars today. Local-currency billing is the plan and the point, but a converted price is only honest with a published rate behind it, so we would rather quote one currency than invent a second.
3,000 emails a month, test keys that cost nothing, and the whole API to build against.
